A shocking act of violence unfolded on a New York City street earlier this week, stemming from a disturbing and senseless demand.
A video, captured by an independent reporter known as Coronavirus NY, reveals the horrifying moment a teenage boy brutally attacked a girl after she rejected his unwanted advances.
The boy, driven by a need to control and impress his peers, aggressively demanded the girl’s phone number and insisted she become his girlfriend as a status symbol. His escalating frustration turned violent when she refused.
Captured on video, the aggressor blocked her path in a crosswalk, threatening her with chilling words: “I’ll knock the sh*t out of you right now.” A companion can be heard encouraging the impending assault.
As the girl attempted to move past him, he forcefully shoved her backwards. Her defiant response – a furious demand to be left alone – ignited his rage.
In a brutal display of power, he lifted the girl and slammed her to the pavement. The attack didn’t end there; he then repeatedly stomped on her head before casually walking away.
The girl sustained a concussion and required immediate medical attention, being transported to Harlem Hospital by emergency services. Thankfully, she is currently reported to be in stable condition.
Law enforcement officials swiftly apprehended the assailant and charged him with second-degree assault. He is awaiting a court appearance, though his identity has not yet been publicly released.
