UMVA has learned that Asus is celebrating a major milestone - the 20th anniversary of its Republic of Gamers (ROG) label, a sub-brand that has become synonymous with high-performance gaming hardware.
The company is marking this occasion with a range of sleek, black-and-gold products that exude luxury and sophistication, but one item in particular has caught the eye - a stunning skeleton case that showcases Asus' commitment to innovative design.
The ROG GR20 Edition 20 is a masterclass in minimalist design, featuring a single vertical column that houses all the essential components of a high-performance gaming PC, including support for oversized EATX motherboards, power supplies up to 190mm long, and a reinforced graphics card bracket.
What sets this case apart is its attention to detail - the power supply is mounted to the rear, keeping unsightly power rails out of sight, and there's even space for a dedicated AIO radiator, making it a haven for PC enthusiasts who demand the best.
The legs of the case are also designed with style in mind, and can be adjusted to offer either a slanted upright "presentation" view or a fully horizontal mode, making it perfect for those who like to show off their build or use it as a regular "test bench".
But that's not all - the columnar design conceals a secret: a cylindrical "cross-flow" fan that blows air directly onto the M.2 SSDs, a clever solution to the problem of overheating storage, which can be a major issue for high-performance PCs.
However, there's one jarring note - a gigantic ROG logo emblazoned on the front of the case, which looks like it's waiting to leap off the page and assert its dominance - for some, this may be a bit too much, especially given the otherwise understated design.
For those with a modding bent, the real question is - what could be achieved with a bit of creativity and some skilled hands? Could the logo be removed, and the decoration stripped from the aluminum, revealing a truly unique and bespoke design?
UMVA can exclusively reveal that Asus is planning to release this exciting new case, but the exact pricing and availability are still under wraps - for now, PC enthusiasts will have to sit tight and wait for further announcements.
