KITCHEN NIGHTMARE: Your Stove is a HIDDEN DANGER!

KITCHEN NIGHTMARE: Your Stove is a HIDDEN DANGER!

At a recent gathering in Rockwell, a seemingly ordinary countertop held a remarkable secret: three simple dots. These weren't mere decorations, but the heart of a revolutionary cooking system, a seamless induction cooktop brought to life by InvisaCook technology.

The innovation stems from Haig & Lee, a company with diverse interests ranging from packaging to flooring, and surprisingly, a connection to the beloved Mama Sita’s brand. It was through their work with US porcelain tile companies that they first encountered the potential of InvisaCook, recognizing a chance to redefine the modern kitchen.

InvisaCook’s magic lies in its integration with porcelain tiles. The system requires tiles or countertops at least 12mm thick, capable of withstanding both heat and pressure. Beneath the surface, a specialized machine and control panel work in harmony, transforming the entire countertop into a powerful cooking surface.

The technology itself isn’t new – it leverages the efficiency of induction cooking, exciting electrons within compatible cookware to generate heat directly in the pan. However, InvisaCook elevates the experience, potentially surpassing the energy efficiency of traditional induction cookers by eliminating wasted heat. It’s a timely innovation, considering growing concerns about energy consumption.

Compatibility is key, as with any induction system. A simple magnet test – if it sticks to the bottom of your pan, it’s likely to work – offers a quick check, though a dedicated “induction compatible” sticker provides greater assurance. The focus remains on delivering a powerful and efficient cooking experience.

The investment for this seamless integration is significant. Expect to spend around P100,000 for a single burner installation, with each additional burner adding approximately P50,000, contingent on the countertop’s structural integrity. Up to five burners can be seamlessly incorporated.

But the true value of InvisaCook isn’t just about functionality; it’s about aesthetics. It liberates kitchen designers from the constraints of traditional, bulky cooktops, allowing for truly seamless and minimalist designs. The cooktop disappears, becoming one with the countertop itself.

The Reyes-Lapus family, the driving force behind Mama Sita’s, saw an opportunity beyond just flavor. A passion for food, combined with a keen business sense, led them to embrace InvisaCook’s potential. They envision a future where they can offer complete kitchen and countertop fabrication services.

Ultimately, InvisaCook represents a shift in how we think about the kitchen. It’s a fusion of technology, design, and a genuine love for food, promising a future where cooking is not just a necessity, but a beautifully integrated part of the home.
