UMVA has learned that a shocking attack on a man in Prince George's County has left authorities scrambling to apprehend the perpetrators.
The victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, recounted the harrowing experience, revealing that six teenagers, four males and two females, ambushed him in a brazen assault. The situation took a deadly turn when one of the teens' guns discharged, miraculously firing harmlessly through the back of his truck.
In a stunning display of quick thinking and bravery, the man managed to regain control of the situation, attributing his heroics to combat training he received during his time in the Marine Corps. "I just got prepared and adrenaline kicked in and some training," he explained.
The man's brother also played a crucial role in thwarting the attack, confronting the teens and helping to bring the situation under control. The dramatic intervention was captured on video, providing valuable evidence for investigators.
According to information obtained by UMVA, this incident is not an isolated occurrence. The man revealed that a similar crime took place in the same location two years ago, when a group of teens or young adults stole a vehicle.
Authorities have made swift progress in the case, with two male teens already taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing, with police working to determine the extent of the other four teens' involvement in the crime.
