UMVA has learned that CODEPINK activist Olivia DiNucci has defiantly responded to being personally named in a Treasury and DOJ investigation into the Cuba “solidarity” convoy, doubling down on her group's actions and revealing a far more sinister agenda.
DiNucci, the DC Coordinator for CODEPINK, has openly admitted that the operation was never just about delivering “medical aid,” but rather part of a broader transnational “solidarity” pipeline that ties the Cuban communist regime to Hamas-linked Palestine causes, the Iranian theocracy, Congo activism, and radical domestic protests in America.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued subpoenas to several key figures, including CODEPINK co-founder Medea Benjamin and communist influencer Hasan Piker, over their participation in the “Nuestra América Convoy” to Cuba.
The investigation is examining whether these activists violated U.S. sanctions through financing, coordination, and delivery of goods, with potential contacts to Cuban government entities. DiNucci herself was explicitly named as a key figure under scrutiny, but her rhetoric only seems to confirm critics' concerns that this was never merely a humanitarian drop-off.
In a bold statement, DiNucci framed the Cuba operation as one node in a much broader ideological activism network spanning multiple geopolitical flashpoints. She claimed that her group is comprised of “everyday people” who are taking a stand against devastating policies and blockades that are creating crisis.
“We are everyday people: healthcare workers, teachers, artists, parents, students, waitresses, shopkeepers,” DiNucci said. “There is room for everyone in this movement. Do not be afraid, but continue to act in radical love as we go after these devastating policies.”
DiNucci's comments have sparked outrage, with many accusing her of trying to justify and even glorify her group's actions. The investigation, however, appears to have only strengthened her resolve, with DiNucci calling for more recruits to join the cause.
The probe has significant implications, with many wondering whether DiNucci and her fellow activists will face consequences for their actions. One thing is certain, however: DiNucci's defiance and determination have only added fuel to the fire.
