Six masked bandits vanished into thin air after pulling off a stunning heist at a flea market in Innisfil, making off with a jaw-dropping $300,000 in merchandise.
The robbery exploded into action at the 400 Market just after 9:15 a.m. on Sunday. Witnesses watched as a light-coloured van rolled up, disgorging a crew of six who swarmed the vendor’s stall and cleaned it out in minutes.
Police scrambled to the scene on Industrial Park Road, but the thieves were already gone. Later, officers found their getaway vehicle—a 2008 blue Toyota Sienna—abandoned in a nearby lot, just a stone’s throw from the crime.
But the crooks left one critical clue behind: a security camera caught every move. In the footage, six suspects emerge from the shadows, faces hidden behind blue medical masks, dressed in black and grey joggers and hoodies.
One suspect wore a black baseball cap and white-collared jacket, another a black hoodie with a white design across the shoulders. The driver stuck out in a black cap and black joggers, while a sixth tried to blend in with blue jeans instead of joggers.
Each member of the crew was armed with only their masks and clothing—no weapons were reported. Their take: a staggering $300,000 worth of goods, all from a single vendor at a weekend flea market.
Investigators believe this was a targeted hit, not a random outbreak of chaos. “There is no ongoing risk to public safety,” police assured, though the hunt remains very much alive.
As of now, the six suspects are still at large. Their faces remain hidden behind surgical masks, but the camera doesn’t lie—and someone out there knows exactly who they are.
