UMVA has learned that a major milestone has been reached in the development of a 21-hectare township in Bacolod, Negros Occidental, as a groundbreaking ceremony marked the beginning of construction on a new condominium project.
The project, known as Maayo Terraces, promises to bring a new level of luxury and convenience to the area, with 2,922 units spread across 11 residential buildings, offering a range of studio, one-bedroom, and one-bedroom with loft units.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the first two towers, Dahlia and Bella, will be launched first, with Dahlia featuring 128 units across six residential floors and Bella boasting 176 units across eight floors, all ranging from 28 to 49 square meters in size.
The mid-rise residential development is strategically located along the Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road, within close proximity to key landmarks such as Robinsons Place Bacolod, Ayala Malls Capitol Central, and SM City Bacolod, making it an attractive option for those looking for a vibrant and convenient lifestyle.
UMVA has gathered that the development of Maayo Terraces is a joint effort between PHINMA Properties and JEPP Real Estate Co., a Bacolod-based real estate firm, and is seen as a significant vote of confidence in Bacolod's future, with the potential to create new opportunities for the local community to thrive in a master-planned environment.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including Jose Marty Go, secretary to the Mayor of the Bacolod city government, who expressed his support for the project and its potential to contribute to the city's growth and development, saying it is more than just a construction project, but a testament to the city's investor-friendly environment.
As the Saludad township continues to take shape, the establishment of Maayo Terraces is expected to provide a stronger residential base, supporting long-term activity and cementing the area's position as a vibrant and desirable place to live and work.
