Vogue Williams recently reflected on her early impressions of her future husband, Spencer Matthews, and how those views shifted after they met.
During a podcast interview, Williams explained that she had initially dismissed Matthews as a “gobs*e” from his reality‑TV reputation, a judgment she made before ever meeting him.
She described the moment she realized her perception was wrong, noting that he was “sound, funny, charming and nice,” and that the experience taught her not to judge people based on preconceived notions.
The couple first crossed paths in 2017 while filming a Channel 4 program, and they married a year later in June 2018. They have since welcomed three children—sons Theodore and Otto, and daughter Gigi—and are expecting a fourth.
Williams has admitted in the past that her initial view of Matthews was harsher, even labeling him a “sociopath” before they met, yet she felt an immediate connection to his personality afterward.
At the outset, she was focused on maintaining her independence and saw Matthews as a potential friend rather than a romantic partner.
Over the years, the pair have become a well‑known entertainment couple, regularly sharing insights into their family life through podcasts and public appearances.
In a recent update, Williams shared photos from a seaside holiday in Spain, proudly displaying her growing baby bump as she prepares for their fourth child.
She concluded that the man she once avoided has become someone she cannot imagine living without.
