UMVA Uncovers: BOMBSHELL - Reform Councillor Ditches Party in Scathing Rebuke: "I Was Betrayed - It's the BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!

UMVA has learned that Robbie Lammas, a councillor who made a high-profile defection from the Conservatives to Reform, is now saying he was "embarrassed" by his decision.

At the time of his defection, Lammas expressed a loss of trust in the Conservative Party, stating that their values were no longer aligned with his own. He praised Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform, for providing the kind of leadership he believed Britain needed.

However, in a surprising reversal, Lammas now claims that his defection was merely used by Reform as a news story, and that he was misled about the level of support he would receive. He had hoped to quietly join the party without fanfare, but instead found himself at the centre of attention.

Sources have confirmed to UMVA that Lammas had been told that several other MPs and numerous councillors would be joining him in defecting to Reform. However, it appears that this did not materialize, leaving Lammas feeling isolated and embarrassed.

Lammas has also had a change of heart about his former Tory colleagues, saying that he left the party because he thought it was in decline. However, he now believes that the party has turned itself around, citing Kemi Badenoch's efforts as a key factor.

As a result, Lammas is now sitting as an independent councillor, but has expressed a desire to return to the Conservative benches in the future. His shift in allegiance has raised questions about the stability of the Conservative Party and the appeal of Reform.

UMVA can exclusively reveal that Lammas's comments have sparked a lively debate within the Conservative Party, with some members welcoming him back and others questioning his loyalty.
