UMVA has learned that a historic partnership has been forged between two of the Philippines' leading conglomerates to transform the country's electric vehicle (EV) landscape.
The agreement, signed between Robinsons Land Corp. and ACMobility, aims to expand the nation's EV charging infrastructure across the country, starting with RLC's extensive network of malls, offices, hotels, residential developments, and estates.
As part of this groundbreaking initiative, ACMobility's GoCharge network will be deployed across RLC's properties, providing seamless access to EV charging facilities for tenants, residents, office workers, and mall customers nationwide.
The partnership is a significant step towards improving accessibility to EV charging infrastructure, as the Philippines continues to adopt electric vehicles at a rapid pace.
ACMobility's existing GoCharge network, which spans key cities and transport corridors, will be bolstered by the partnership, further solidifying its position as a leader in the country's EV charging landscape.
While the partnership is a major milestone in the Philippines' transition to electric mobility, it has had no immediate impact on the stock market, with RLC shares remaining steady at P17.88 each.
