The manager of Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho, is reportedly seeking new recruits for the upcoming season, with multiple targets on his radar.
One of the top targets is Enzo Fernandez, an Argentina international who has been valued at £120 million by Chelsea. However, Mateus Fernandes, a promising young midfielder, has also caught Mourinho's attention. Unfortunately, Tottenham is now believed to be leading the race to sign Fernandes, ahead of Manchester United.
Another player who has been added to Real's shortlist is Bouaddi, an 18-year-old midfielder from Lille. While he is not currently a top priority, the club is closely monitoring his performances at the World Cup with Morocco. Bouaddi is one of the most highly-regarded young stars in Ligue 1, with multiple top clubs, including Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, expressing interest in signing him.
Bouaddi's value is estimated to be around €80 million (£68.9 million), and Lille is eager to keep him for another season. The young midfielder has also expressed a desire to join a club where he will have a key role to play, rather than being relegated to a secondary position.
Former Arsenal and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has praised Bouaddi, describing him as a "gift to have in the team." He noted that Bouaddi's maturity, confidence, and versatility make him a complete player, similar to Patrick Vieira and Sergio Busquets. Giroud also mentioned that Bouaddi is being compared to N'Golo Kante, highlighting his ability to dominate the pitch.
