Imagine the outrage. The judiciary, the so-called civil society rackets, and the faculty lounge must be seething with fury. Cops in Surrey, British Columbia, just did something utterly unthinkable in Canada: they released a cascade of mugshots of suspected criminals tied to the city’s chaotic extortion rackets.
Businesses and ordinary citizens have been terrorized by crews of South Asian gangsters who demand money with menacing threats. These thugs have acted with chilling impunity—some even daring to claim asylum after being arrested. Lawrence Bishnoi, the puppetmaster? His tentacles run deep in this country, orchestrating shootings, arson, and murder across the region.
On a Monday afternoon, a man in his 30s was shot dead inside a business complex. The building houses Radio Swift 1200 AM, which had been targeted by mobsters after its hosts discussed the extortion plaguing local shops. Last September, several shots were fired into the empty studio. Cops say this latest homicide was a targeted attack.
“This was a brazen shooting that showed a complete disregard for public safety, and it is fortunate that no one else was injured,” homicide spokesperson Sgt. Freda Fong declared. Photos were released to find witnesses. In their press release, Surrey cops announced they had “arrested and charged several individuals with violent offences related to extortion.” They called the mugshot release essential for detectives to locate additional witnesses, victims, or associates.
Of course, the photo release was within the regulations of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Among the all-stars: Prabhjot Singh, a 20-year-old foreign national suspected of extortion-related crimes. He was arrested—and believe it or not—deported. Lovebir Singh, 22, a foreign national who had been in Canada since fall 2023, was also shipped back home by Canada Border Services Agency after being linked to the extortion epidemic.
In February, three more foreign nationals were busted after a shots-fired incident. Harjot Singh, 21, Taranveer Singh, 19, and Dayajeet Singh Billing, 21, now face charges for discharging a firearm into a place. More charges are expected. In January, cops arrested two foreign nationals in a suspect vehicle and recovered a loaded handgun. Harshdeep Singh, 20, was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and occupying a vehicle knowing a firearm is present. Hanspreet Singh, 21, was charged with one count of the same.
Surrey cops have done something unthinkable that must have the woke crowd shuddering: they stated the obvious. There is a serious problem of violence, bloodshed, and terror. Let’s name it, then try to fix it. Canada has been played for a fool by criminals using dodgy immigration gambits—temporary foreign student visas, asylum claims, and refugee systems. Then, when crimes are committed and Canadians are killed, a small army of gullible judges buys their sob stories. And we pay the price.
