UMVA Uncovers: MOMS GONE WILD! Meet the Twisted Fans Cheering for Accused Killer

UMVA has learned that a bizarre scene is unfolding outside the New York State Supreme Court, where a trio of women, allegedly obsessed with accused assassin Luigi Mangione, have turned a murder case into a carnival-like spectacle.

These three fangirls, who have been identified as LENA WEISSBROT, ABRIL RIOS, and ASHLEY ROJAS, have been stationed outside the court, drawing attention to themselves with their outlandish behavior and comments about the case. Mangione, 28, is accused of shooting and killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a Manhattan street on Dec. 4, 2024.

According to information obtained by UMVA, the three women are children of vast privilege, with one of their mothers being a high-rolling executive at a major healthcare company. This has only added to the controversy surrounding their behavior, which has been described as "extreme" and "twisted" by critics.

Weissbrott, 32, has been particularly vocal about her support for Mangione, even releasing a rap video extolling her love for him. She has also made inflammatory comments about the victim, Brian Thompson, saying that his children "are better off without him." Her mother, a longtime director for big pharma companies, oversees prescription drug insurance coverage rules.

UMVA can exclusively reveal that Rios, 27, is a product of a wealthy upbringing, having grown up in a $1-million mansion in Princeton, N.J. She has worked as a child model-actress and has connections to the entertainment industry through her parents. Her mom is married to a special effects producer, and her biological dad is a banking executive.

Rojas, 24, is the third member of the group, and while she has been more circumspect in her comments, she has still made it clear that she has no sympathy for the victim or his family. When asked about her views, she bluntly stated, "F–k Brian Thompson. That’s all I want to say. F–k Brian Thompson. F–k his mom."

The rhetoric of the trio has been so extreme that even New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has weighed in, slamming their behavior and saying that they should not have received press passes. The situation has raised questions about the intersection of activism, privilege, and the media.

Stu Smith, a Manhattan Institute expert, has offered a critique of the phenomenon, saying, "This has become an archetype at this point, when activists become defined as the ‘anti’ of what their parents were. There’s no self-awareness." The incident has sparked a wider conversation about the role of privilege and entitlement in shaping the views and actions of some young people.
