VATICAN STRIKES BACK: Pentagon Rumors EXPOSED as TOTAL LIES!

VATICAN STRIKES BACK: Pentagon Rumors EXPOSED as TOTAL LIES!

A fabricated story ignited across news outlets, alleging a dramatic confrontation between the United States Department of War and the Vatican. The narrative claimed a veiled threat against the Holy See, deliberately designed to fracture relations between the Catholic Church and a sitting administration.

The initial report, originating from a single source, quickly spread through various media channels. It described a closed-door meeting at the Pentagon on January 22, 2026, where a high-ranking U.S. official allegedly delivered a “bitter lecture” to the Vatican’s ambassador, Cardinal Christophe Pierre.

Adding fuel to the fire, the report suggested a chilling historical reference – the Avignon Papacy – was invoked during the meeting. This period, marked by significant political control exerted over the papacy, was interpreted by some as a thinly veiled threat of force or undue influence.

However, the Vatican swiftly and unequivocally refuted the claims. Spokesman Matteo Bruni issued a firm statement, confirming Cardinal Pierre’s account of the meeting as a routine exchange of views on matters of mutual interest – a standard diplomatic practice.

The Vatican nunciature in Washington further clarified the situation, emphasizing the cordial and unremarkable nature of the discussion. They characterized the interaction as a regular part of the papal representative’s duties, focused on “current affairs.”

The Department of War also released a statement, directly challenging the distorted reporting. They affirmed that Under Secretary of War for Policy Elbridge Colby had a “substantive, respectful, and professional” meeting with Cardinal Pierre, covering a wide range of topics including morality and global security.

The Department’s statement explicitly labeled the reports as “grossly false and distorted,” reiterating their high regard for the Holy See and commitment to continued dialogue. They emphasized the meeting was a reasonable discussion, devoid of any hostile intent.

United States Ambassador to the Holy See, Brian Burch, personally spoke with Cardinal Pierre, receiving direct confirmation that the media portrayals were complete “fabrications.” The Cardinal explicitly denied any threats were made during the meeting, describing it as a “frank and cordial” exchange.

Cardinal Pierre dismissed the suggestion of a historical threat, stating plainly that there was “none.” The swift and coordinated denials from both the Vatican and the U.S. government effectively dismantled a story built on speculation and misinformation.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential for fabricated narratives to rapidly circulate and the importance of verifying information, particularly when it involves sensitive international relations and institutions.
