OMAR'S HISTORICAL BLUNDER IGNITES FURY: Did She Just Rewrite WWII?!

OMAR'S HISTORICAL BLUNDER IGNITES FURY: Did She Just Rewrite WWII?!

A video clip from a previous press conference has resurfaced, drawing attention to a statement made by Representative Ilhan Omar. During a discussion about the Alien Enemies Act, she referred to “World War Eleven,” a startling misstatement that quickly went viral.

The original moment, captured on video, shows Omar initially stating the act was last used during “World War Eleven” to detain and deport immigrants from Germany, Japan, and Italy. She quickly corrected herself, offering a sheepish “oh two, sorry,” but the initial remark had already spread widely online.

The incident has sparked considerable discussion, with many focusing on the historical inaccuracy of the statement. It bypassed the well-documented events of World War II, jumping to a fictionalized continuation of the conflict.

This is not the first time Omar has faced scrutiny. Recent attention has also been directed towards questions surrounding her financial disclosures and potential connections to fraud investigations in Minnesota.

Initial financial filings revealed a significant increase in Omar’s and her husband’s assets, reportedly reaching between $6 million and $30 million. This substantial jump prompted questions from both Republican lawmakers and the former President.

Subsequently, an amended filing drastically reduced the reported assets to a range of $18,000 to $95,000, attributing the discrepancy to an accounting error. This explanation has been met with skepticism from several Minnesota representatives.

The scrutiny extends to Omar’s involvement, or lack thereof, in hearings related to a large-scale fraud case involving the Feeding Our Future program. This program, designed to provide meals to children, allegedly saw $250 million in taxpayer funds diverted through networks within her district.

Allegations have surfaced suggesting potential personal profit from the misuse of funds, with claims that the stolen money was used for personal luxuries. Lawmakers are demanding full accountability and access to relevant records to investigate these claims thoroughly.
