President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to the Iranian regime, stating that if Tehran succeeds in assassinating him, the U.S. military will completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran using overwhelming force.
The warning comes amid chants and banners calling for Trump’s assassination at the funeral of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Trump made the statement in a post on Truth Social, reiterating that the instructions are already in place and any attempt on his life by Iranian operatives would trigger an immediate and devastating response far beyond anything previously contemplated.
The warning is directed at the Iranian regime's explicit threat to assassinate the sitting President of the United States.
According to Trump, the U.S. military has been ordered to be ready, willing, and able for a one-year period, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran.
The president also stated that 1,000 missiles are locked and loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands more to immediately follow, if the Iranian government acts on its threat.
Trump added a pointed jab at the regime by ending his statement with the phrase "PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!"
This is not the first time Trump has warned of a potential Iranian threat, having previously explained in an interview that he has been on Iran's hit list for a long time and has left explicit instructions for the military to respond aggressively if anything happens to him.
The president emphasized that this is not an idle threat, but a pre-planned response already authorized to deter and punish any Iranian assassination plot.
