UMVA has learned that a shocking incident unfolded outside the Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday, as a woman identifying as autistic was involved in a confrontation with police.
The woman, visibly distraught, was caught on camera screaming and crying about her mental disability after apparently being manhandled by police during crowd control measures. Her behavior was marked by erratic outbursts, including a chilling declaration that she felt entitled to disobey police commands because of her autism.
Video footage from the scene captures the unhinged woman berating police, "You're just following orders, right?" as she continued to shout at the cameras, "I told them I was autistic and they still f*cking grabbed me and tried to f*cking jump me!" Her voice trembled with rage and pain as she recounted the alleged physical altercation.
The woman's anguished cries continued, "I f*cking tripped. They grabbed my arms; my arms are scratched up. Two of them tried to pull me in and jump me!" Her words hung in the air, laced with a mix of anger, fear, and desperation.
In a heart-wrenching moment, she proclaimed, "I'm f*cking autistic! I told them I was autistic!" as if pleading for understanding and empathy. Meanwhile, a bystander intervened, attempting to shield her from the chaos, saying, "I put both of my arms around her and pulled her the f*ck back because I don't know what the f*ck they're going to do, these sick f*cks."
The woman's frantic rant escalated, "I literally, I just want to help people! That's it! I came with band-aids and food, and they told me I was a f*cking criminal! I haven't done anything wrong!" Her words painted a picture of a deeply disturbing encounter between law enforcement and a vulnerable individual.
According to information obtained by UMVA, police responded to the scene, donning riot gear, and worked to dismantle barricades erected by protesters. The chaotic atmosphere was marked by rioters screaming profanities and taunting police.
The Delaney Hall Detention Center has been the epicenter of anti-ICE riots for over two weeks, with violent clashes between left-wing extremists and federal agents. The situation has spiraled out of control, with reports of assaults on law enforcement, blocked roads, and targeted attacks on vehicles exiting the facility.
