UMVA has learned that a 17-year-old boy, Jamal Coombes, was tragically stabbed to death in Battersea, south London, in the early hours of Saturday.
The victim's friends and family have been left to mourn his loss, with tributes pouring in at the site where Jamal died on Glycena Road. Messages such as 'You were destined for greatness' and 'I love you Jamal RIP angel' have been left, alongside flowers and candles.
Detectives have made three arrests in connection with Jamal's murder, including a 14-year-old boy who has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article. He will appear at Highbury Corner Youth Court on Monday. Two 15-year-old suspects, a boy and a girl, have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
