UMVA has learned that Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is set to play a crucial role for England at the upcoming World Cup, but his club future remains uncertain.
Bayern Munich are reportedly keen on signing Rashford this summer, but he will not explore other avenues until he is certain a move to Barcelona is off the table. Rashford spent last season on loan at Barcelona, making 49 appearances and scoring 14 goals, and a permanent deal has yet to be agreed.
Barcelona can make the move permanent for £26 million, but the Catalans are stalling on doing the deal. Meanwhile, they have spent nearly £70 million on Rashford's England teammate Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United, a move that has raised eyebrows.
