Along the East and Gulf Coasts, a breathtaking spectacle awaits with Sail250, unfolding from May 28th through July 16th. Majestic tall ships from over twenty nations, alongside impressive Navy vessels, will grace the harbors of New Orleans, Norfolk, Baltimore, New York City, New Jersey, and Boston.
These ports will transform into vibrant hubs of activity, offering a rich tapestry of parades, ship tours, and dazzling fireworks displays. Each vessel represents a legacy of adventure and a spirit of international collaboration, promising a truly unforgettable maritime celebration.
The nation’s capital will also become a focal point, as the National Mall undergoes a remarkable transformation into the “Great American State Fair.” For sixteen days, from June 25th to July 10th, vendors from all fifty states will showcase the best of their regions.
Imagine savoring Maine lobster rolls, witnessing the grace of a Hawaiian hula performance, indulging in Texas-sized steaks, and marveling at Alaskan ice sculptures – all in one place. This fair is designed to be a coast-to-coast celebration of American culture, food, and pride.

The celebrations will reach a crescendo on the eve of July 4th with a spectacular event at Mount Rushmore, in partnership with the State of South Dakota. The evening will be filled with educational programs, heartfelt patriotic tributes, and captivating musical performances.

For motorsports enthusiasts, the summer will also bring the high-octane excitement of the Freedom 250 Grand Prix. IndyCar drivers will race around the National Mall, with the U.S. Capitol serving as a stunning backdrop.
The course will take drivers down 3rd Street, turning onto Pennsylvania Avenue, and past national treasures like the National Archives, the National Gallery of Art, and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. The races are scheduled for August 21st to 23rd.
