CONGRESS PANICS AS EPSTEIN BOMBSHELL HEARING EXPLODES—Bondi, Gates Under Fire, Podesta SLIPS UP!

CONGRESS PANICS AS EPSTEIN BOMBSHELL HEARING EXPLODES—Bondi, Gates Under Fire, Podesta SLIPS UP!

The countdown is on. Three seismic events are converging in Washington this month, each one a potential earthquake in the long-running Epstein scandal. A field hearing in Palm Beach on May 12. Former Attorney General Pam Bondi’s transcribed interview on May 29. Bill Gates’s testimony on June 10. Together, they could crack open the vault of secrets the powerful have fought to keep buried.

In Palm Beach, Democratic-led hearings will feature survivors of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell—victims whose suffering began in the very place where the monster first operated with impunity. The question hanging in the air: will this finally be the moment the truth stops being redacted?

Every one of these events feeds into the same relentless Republican-led House Oversight investigation. The target: how the Justice Department handled the Epstein case, why files remain hidden, and which high-profile names are still being shielded. Bondi will face questions about redactions. Gates will have to explain his flights on Epstein’s jet and his documented ties to Maxwell.

Congress discusses the Epstein files, featuring prominent figures and the Capitol building under dramatic skies.

Across party lines, lawmakers are screaming the same thing: release everything. Subpoena everyone. “We should be subpoenaing every possible person,” one Virginia Democrat told us. “The whole American public—Democrat and Republican—wants to get to the bottom of this.” A Texas Democrat was even blunter: “They need to release all the files. The president won’t let the files with his name be released… and that’s bullshit.”

The fury is bipartisan and raw. A South Carolina Republican on the Oversight Committee said she’s ready to hold Bondi in contempt, interview everyone, and release every last file. “Many of the files we’ve gotten—especially about co-conspirators—are actually redacted,” she said. “Those records need to come out.” A California Democrat, co-author of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, added: “We intend to get the rest of the files released and then get people before the committee to answer questions.”

But here’s the jaw-dropping disconnect. Despite all the tough talk, several lawmakers admitted they had no idea about the early red flags that first ignited public suspicion. Ask them about John Podesta’s leaked 2016 emails—the ones mentioning “spirit cooking,” with “pizza” and “hot dog” flagged by the FBI as potential pedophilic slang—and they draw a blank.

One Tennessee Republican said, “I have no idea” when asked about the Podesta scandal. He promised to find the committee chairman on the House floor immediately. Another Texas Republican, asked why Podesta hasn’t been subpoenaed, replied simply: “That’s a good question.” He argued all the shady activities from the 2016 campaign deserve scrutiny. “I haven’t been privy to that information,” he admitted.

A Georgia Republican, now on the Oversight panel, said he doesn’t “know much… at all” about Podesta’s alleged misconduct. But he’s curious: “Maybe that’s exactly what will happen.” The irony is staggering: the same committee poised to grill Bondi and Gates is only now learning about clues that have been public for nearly a decade.

Those Podesta emails, released by WikiLeaks in the final weeks of the 2016 campaign, were the first major warning signs of hidden networks among Washington elites. They sparked widespread suspicion of a system that protects the powerful. Yet here we are, years later, with lawmakers still playing catch-up.

Gates Foundation 'sullied' by Epstein link, chief says

Meanwhile, the American people are furious—and they’re not silent. A recent CNN poll found just 6 percent of Americans satisfied with the amount of Epstein information released. A staggering 67 percent believe the government is intentionally holding back details. Another poll shows 69 percent agree the files prove “powerful people in the U.S. are rarely held accountable.” Trust in elites is shattered.

The message from the public is deafening: we want more than hearings. We demand real accountability. No selective blindness. The truth, no matter whose names surface. Multiple surveys show roughly 75 percent support for releasing all Epstein-related files. Over 3.5 million pages have already been released, but heavy redactions remain. The GAO and DOJ Inspector General have launched reviews.

As May 12, May 29, and June 10 loom, one GOP lawmaker pointed out the ultimate irony: “The left is going to pay for their accusations. There are way more suspicious things that happened with Bill Clinton than with President Trump.” The question now is whether Congress will finally stop pretending it doesn’t know what’s hiding in plain sight.
