Year Secret Video Horror: Accused Hamilton Voyeur’s Sick Hidden Camera Stash Exposed

For nearly two decades, a Canadian man allegedly turned ordinary private spaces into surveillance zones—capturing unsuspecting victims on hidden cameras without their knowledge.

Jason Machado, 40, now faces three voyeurism charges after police uncovered hours of secret recordings that may stretch all the way back to 2007. The footage reportedly spans an astonishing 17-year period, ending in 2025.

Authorities say the videos were obtained through concealed recording devices placed in locations where people had every right to expect total privacy. But police haven't yet identified every person caught in those illegal recordings.

Jason Machado, 40, of Hamilton, faces voyeurism charges for allegedly using hidden devices to record video of people in private settings without their knowledge between 2007 and 2025.

Hamilton Police received the first tip last Saturday, when a witness stumbled upon the evidence. What they found sent detectives racing to seize multiple electronic devices now locked in forensic analysis.

“Multiple recordings depicting individuals in private settings without their knowledge or consent,” police alleged. The level of betrayal is staggering—some victims may have no idea they were watched for years.

Investigators are sounding the alarm, worried there could be more victims still in the dark. They’ve released the accused’s photo to the public, hoping anyone who may have crossed paths with him under compromising circumstances will come forward.

This case doesn’t stand alone. It echoes recent scandals involving janitors planting cameras in washrooms, restaurant owners installing hidden lenses, and a 29-year-old man accused of hiding devices in downtown coffee shop bathrooms.

The investigation is far from over. Police are pleading for anyone with information—or anyone who felt a chilling sense of recognition when they saw the suspect’s face—to speak up before more secrets surface.
