BIDEN SCANDAL ERUPTS: Governor's Race Rocked by SHOCKING Corruption Claims!

BIDEN SCANDAL ERUPTS: Governor's Race Rocked by SHOCKING Corruption Claims!

Keisha Lance Bottoms, now vying for the governorship of Georgia, carries with her a past marked by persistent questions about ethical conduct. Even as she campaigns for higher office, scrutiny follows, raising concerns about her time as mayor of Atlanta and the decisions made during her ascent in local government.

Before announcing her gubernatorial run, Bottoms faced criticism for the use of public funds. Taxpayer-funded mailers prominently featuring her image sparked debate, as did the allocation of city resources to cover personal expenses – including airfare for her husband to attend the Super Bowl. These instances fueled a narrative of prioritizing personal benefit over responsible stewardship of public money.

Perhaps the most troubling allegations center around her relationship with a contracting firm, Con-Real. While leading the Atlanta Fulton County Recreation Authority (AFCRA), Bottoms signed an initial consulting contract with the company shortly before transitioning to the mayor’s office. Soon after, Con-Real secured significantly larger, and more lucrative, city contracts.

The timing and circumstances surrounding these contracts have raised eyebrows. Con-Real frequently submitted bids higher than competitors, yet consistently won the projects. Notably, some contracts appeared to bypass the standard approval process, lacking the necessary vote from the recreation authority’s board.

Jennifer Ide, a former Atlanta City Council leader and ethics committee chair, expressed deep concern. She described the situation as “concerning,” particularly the appearance of a “pay-to-play” scheme where campaign contributions seemed to influence contract awards. Ide believes voters deserve assurance that special interests aren’t dictating outcomes.

Gerald Alley, the CEO of Con-Real, didn’t simply win contracts; he actively supported Bottoms’ campaigns. Records show he hosted a fundraiser and donated thousands of dollars shortly after his company landed a major deal. This pattern continued, with a maximum allowable donation made just weeks after Bottoms announced her bid for governor.

The concerns aren’t isolated to the Con-Real dealings. Bottoms’ record includes a substantial ethics fine for campaign finance violations and continued questions about the appropriate use of taxpayer money. Critics point to a pattern of questionable judgment and a potential disregard for ethical boundaries.

Humberto Garcia, an Atlanta resident and community organizer, believes a deeper investigation will reveal a candidate “not fit for office.” He, along with others, question whether Bottoms consistently prioritizes the best interests of the public, or if outside influences sway her decisions.

Despite the controversies, Bottoms currently leads in most polls for the Democratic gubernatorial primary, scheduled for May 19th. Her campaign has not responded to requests for comment regarding these allegations, leaving voters to weigh the concerns against her political momentum.

The questions surrounding Bottoms’ past are not merely historical footnotes. They represent a fundamental challenge to her candidacy, forcing Georgia voters to consider whether her leadership is truly accountable and dedicated to serving the public good.
