PUTIN'S AFRICAN EMPIRE CRUMBLING: Forces ROUTED in Shocking Uprising!

PUTIN'S AFRICAN EMPIRE CRUMBLING: Forces ROUTED in Shocking Uprising!

A significant clash in Mali has reportedly resulted in a major setback for Russia’s mercenary forces, battling a coalition of jihadist groups and tribal militias. The fighting, concentrated across several cities, continues to escalate, with disturbing reports emerging of casualties among senior officials within Mali’s ruling military junta.

The northern city of Kidal witnessed the most dramatic turn of events. Rebels claim Russian mercenaries were forced into a full retreat, abandoning their base after a fierce assault. Video footage, purportedly showing deceased soldiers identified as Russian and departing military vehicles, has surfaced, painting a grim picture of the battlefield outcome.

Reports indicate a staggering disparity in numbers, with the mercenary force allegedly facing a six-to-one disadvantage – an estimated 10,000 to 12,000 fighters against their 2,000 personnel. This overwhelming force comprised jihadists linked to al Qaeda, alongside Tuareg tribesmen and other groups, including those with ties to Islamic State.

The conflict’s roots lie in a complex exchange: Russia’s promise of security in return for access to Mali’s rich mineral resources, particularly gold. However, this arrangement appears to have faltered, with accusations that the mercenaries exacerbated the conflict through indiscriminate actions and a lack of crucial intelligence.

A spokesperson for the Tuareg-led Azawad Liberation Front described a “white” agreement leading to the Russian withdrawal from Kidal, though this remains unconfirmed by official sources. Simultaneously, reports are surfacing of a similar retreat from the northern city of Tessit, further eroding Russia’s presence in the region.

The Malian government has confirmed the death of Sadio Camara, the country’s defense minister and a key figure in securing Russian assistance. Both the chief of the armed forces’ general staff and the director of the national security agency were also reportedly wounded in recent attacks, highlighting the severity of the situation.

Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs alleges a coordinated attack on Bamako’s international airport and a nearby military base, blaming militants potentially trained by Western security agencies. They express deep concern for Mali’s stability and warn of potential regional consequences.

The United States has strongly condemned the attacks, offering condolences and reaffirming its commitment to supporting peace and security in Mali. The U.S. Embassy has urged citizens to shelter in place and remain vigilant amidst the ongoing unrest.

The rebels’ ultimate goal is ambitious and alarming: the establishment of an al Qaeda-linked Islamic caliphate governed by strict Sharia law. This latest escalation represents a critical juncture, potentially signaling a turning point in Russia’s influence and the future of stability in West Africa.

The situation remains fluid and dangerous, with the outcome uncertain. The withdrawal of Russian forces, coupled with the losses suffered by the Malian junta, raises serious questions about the future security landscape of the region and the potential for further radicalization.
