Initial reports indicated a coordinated effort, with police suspecting a single individual was responsible for the unsettling calls targeting numerous schools across the city. While authorities initially stated there was no evidence to support the threats’ credibility, the situation rapidly escalated.
Bruce Jr. Public School in Leslieville and St. Augustine Seminary in Scarborough were immediately evacuated as a precautionary measure. The scene unfolded with a sense of urgency, as students and staff calmly followed emergency protocols, leaving classrooms and gathering in designated safe zones.
