UMVA Exclusive: Rep. Thomas Massie Surrenders in Race! Emotional Victory Celebration Sidelined by Israel Commitment (VIDEO)

UMVA has learned that Rep. Thomas Massie has conceded his race in Kentucky’s fourth congressional district, following a decisive loss to former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein in Tuesday’s primary election.

The concession came after Massie, currently in Tel Aviv, Israel, was unable to immediately reach Gallrein to concede. He humorously noted the delay, saying, “I would have come out sooner but I had to call my opponent and concede and it took a while to find Ed in Tel Aviv.”

Massie, known for his libertarian principles, emphasized the honorable conduct of his campaign, stating, “We have been honorable the whole time and we are going to stay that way. Welcome to the most expensive congressional primary ever, in the 250-year history of this country. It is not just the most expensive, this thing went on longer than Vietnam.”

The primary, which lasted nine months, was particularly contentious. Massie’s defeat follows a trend of losses for Republicans who have opposed President Trump’s policies, including Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy, who also lost in a primary earlier this month.

President Trump, who had publicly called for Massie’s ouster, celebrated Gallrein’s victory on Truth Social. Trump had previously described Massie as the “worst Congressman in the History of our Country” and endorsed Gallrein, a move that likely influenced the outcome of the primary.
