British football icon and captain of England women’s national football team Leah Williamson has seemingly confirmed her relationship with Miss USA 2021 winner, Elle Smith.
Leah Williamsonwas in attendance at the 69th Ballon d’Or ceremony, which marks achievement in football, in Paris on 22 September. TheArsenalplayer was nominated at the ceremony for the 2025 Ballon d’Or Fémenin, while Arsenal won the Women’s Club of the Year accolade.
Posting on Instagram on 24 September, Williamson confirmed that she attended the event with journalist and Miss USA winner Elle Smith, sharing a carousel of images of the pair together.
In one photo, Williamson, dressed in a black suit and lace shirt, holds onto Smith by the hand, as Smith appears to laugh into her ear.
“Ballon d’Or. Congratulations to all the winners,” Williamson wrote in the caption. “In awe of my teammates for club and country.”
Smith, who also reached the top 10 in the Miss Universe 2021 pageant, also shared a selection of photos from the evening, including one of her and Williamson looking into each other’s eyes and laughing while holding hands.
Another photo showed Williamson slouched on Smith as the duo appeared to jet off from the ceremony via coach.
“A night out in Paris,” she wrote in the caption.
In Smith’s comment section, Carlotta Constant, who styled the pair for their Ballon d’Or ceremony appearance, wrote: “7th pic tho… the most gorgeous couple EVER,” alongside several teary-eyed and fiery heart emojis.
Leah Williamsonand Elle Smith have been romantically linked for some months now, with Smith posting a photo of the couple together back in May, following Arsenal’s victory at the 2024–25 UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The black and white image showed Williamson perched on Smith’s lap as she bit her gold medal, with Smith simply captioning the photo with several crown emojis.
In June, holiday snaps of the pairreignited dating rumours, with Smith cuddling up against Williamson’s neck in one romantic photo.
Neither Smith nor Williamson has officially confirmed their relationship.
