Weeks after Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry were spotted have a cozy meal together in Montreal came photos of the paircanoodling on a yacht.
Canada’s former prime minister and the pop star making out in front of paparazzi wasn’t necessarily shocking, but the stories to come from their makeout session included the romance being nothing but a “midlife crisis” for Trudeau, who has supposedly beenin hot pursuitof the “Fireworks” singer since that fateful first date.

Israeli hostages, Palestinian prisoners freed in ceasefire
All 20 remaining living hostages held in Gaza andhundreds of Palestinian prisonersheld by Israel arewalking free as part of a ceasefirepausing the war that has decimated the Gaza Strip and killed tens of thousands of Palestinians following Hamas’ deadly Oct. 7, 2023 attack in Israel.
U.S. President Donald Trumpaddressed the Knesset, the Israeli parliament, earlier in the week, telling lawmakers that their country had no more to achieve on the battlefield and must work toward peace in the Middle East after two years of war against Hamas and skirmishes with Hezbollah and Iran.
Prime Minister Mark Carney called the release of hostages under a ceasefire deal “a moment of profound relief” and also urged all parties to uphold the ceasefire agreement.
However, it hasn’t been smooth sailing entirely, with Israel and Hamas accusing each other of violating the agreement.

Stellantis bailing on Brampton
After Stellantis acknowledged that it would be moving its Jeep Compass production to an assembly plant in Illinois, Ontario Premier Doug Ford challenged the automaker to “live up to their promise” to about 3,000 Brampton workers whose were “temporarily” out of a job as it reassessed its product strategy due to Trump’s tariffs.
Ford stressed in a conversation with Stellantis his “disappointment with their decision to prioritize investment into the U.S.,” while the federal governmentthreatened legal actionon the carmaker.
In any case, Stellantis’ departure is a blow to Canada’s economy, which is already running on fumes.
