A 57-year-old man is accused of stabbing another man to death in Scarborough on Thursday.
Toronto Police say officers responded toan “unknown trouble” callin the area of Eglinton Ave. E. and Danforth Ave. around 4:15 p.m.but were unable to find a complainant.
Officers continued to investigate and were led to an apartment a block west near Eglinton and Falmouth Aves. where they found a man inside with stab wounds.
The man was located without vital signs, life-saving measures were performed, but police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Murder victim identified
Kananathan Kaneshnadarajah, 66, has been identified as the city’s 34th murder victim of the year.
Police revealed on Friday that a suspect was arrested.
Kunchitthapathan Nudpanathan, of Toronto, is charged with second-degree murder.
