Halton Regional Police said members of its Human Trafficking Unit teamed up with Peel Regional Police’s Vice Unit to investigate allegations that three women were being exploited in the sex trade by the accused throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Police allege that the accused used coercion, manipulation, physical violence, and psychological harm to maintain control and influence over the alleged victims, while she benefited financially from the exploitation.
