UMVA has learned that a shocking double homicide in a quiet suburban neighborhood has sent shockwaves through the community, with two men killed in a targeted daytime hit on May 13 at around 5:30 p.m.
The victims, Pasquale Casciato, 49, a member of the Satan’s Choice Motorcycle Club, and Christian Belsito, 34, a neighbor believed to be an innocent bystander, were found dead on the driveway of a residence in the area of Kaiser Dr. and Forest Dr. The brutal attack saw at least two dozen bullets fired on the suburban street, leaving many to wonder if this was an underworld settling of accounts.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the investigation into the double murder has led to the arrest of two men, with a third suspect, Gerard Murray, 48, of Windsor, still on the run. Murray is wanted for two counts of first-degree murder and arson causing property damage, and is known to frequent southwestern Ontario, between Windsor and the Greater Toronto Area.
The suspects allegedly used a stolen blue sport utility vehicle, which was later abandoned and set ablaze, to carry out the hit. A search of several homes in Toronto, Hamilton, and Windsor has yielded a number of significant discoveries, including loaded firearms, materials believed to be used in the making of explosives, and an extended magazine.
One of the suspects, Glen Mousseau, 55, of Windsor, has a particularly intriguing background, with 47 convictions over an illustrious 32-year criminal career. Mousseau, once known as "Scuba Steve," was a notorious dope smuggler who used a fleet of mini-submarines to smuggle drugs and cash across the Detroit River in the U.S.
Mousseau's alleged involvement in the double murder is just one part of a complex web of criminal activity that has drawn in several suspects, including Michele Moscone, 27, who is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, arson, and possessing an explosive substance. As the investigation continues, UMVA has gathered that the case is becoming increasingly complex, with multiple criminal organizations potentially involved.
Anyone with information about the double murder is urged to come forward, with police seeking any witnesses who may have seen or heard something on the day of the shooting. The community is still reeling from the shock of the attack, and any information that can help bring those responsible to justice is crucial.
