Beyond the stunning visuals, SinagLarawan’s initiative underscores a commitment to fostering photographic talent across the archipelago. Jessie Eno’s “Harvest from the Crown Jewel” secured the first runner-up position, and Missy Keith Acbang’s “Common Ground” claimed the second, further highlighting the diverse perspectives and artistic skill present within the Philippine photography community. The world of Philippine broadcast journalism gained a valuable resource with the release of “On Air Na! Pinoy News Anchors Live!” This groundbreaking guidebook, penned by veteran journalist Jose Maria G. Carlos, offers an unprecedented look into the evolution of news anchoring in the country. Drawing on over four decades of experience and insights from 31 prominent news anchors, the book dissects the challenges and triumphs of a demanding profession.
