Three Republicans – Don Bacon of Nebraska, Lance Gooden of Texas, and Dave Joyce of Ohio – explicitly joined Democrats in opposing the censure. An additional three Republicans – Andrew Garbarino of New York, Jay Obernolte of California, and Dan Meuser of Pennsylvania – cast votes marked as “present,” effectively abstaining from the decision.
