WARNING: Your Money's At Risk! SEC SHUTS DOWN 3 SCAM FIRMS!

A stark warning has been issued to the public: three companies – Recson Land Ventures, Dual Fuel Petroleum, and Legends Petroleum – are under scrutiny for potentially fraudulent investment schemes. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) alleges these entities are enticing individuals with promises of substantial returns, all while operating outside the bounds of the law.

The schemes center around co-ownership opportunities in seemingly stable ventures: gasoline stations, hostels, and petroleum franchises. Investors were reportedly encouraged to contribute significant sums – up to P500,000 for gas station shares and P30,000 for hostel slots – with the allure of effortless passive income and a share of the profits.

Social media played a key role in spreading the word, with Dual Fuel and Legends Petroleum actively detailing their co-ownership programs and the perceived advantages of each investment tier. These online promotions painted a picture of secure, profitable participation, drawing in unsuspecting individuals.

Recson Land Ventures specifically targeted potential investors with promises of a 30-year stream of passive income from co-ownership in their hostels, requiring a minimum investment of just P30,000 per share. The appeal of long-term, hands-off returns proved particularly attractive to many.

However, the SEC has determined these arrangements legally qualify as investment contracts. This classification demands strict registration and authorization under the Securities Regulation Code – requirements these companies demonstrably failed to meet. They are operating without the necessary licenses to solicit investments from the public.

Further raising concerns, the CEO of Dual Fuel Petroleum is not registered with any authorized securities entity in any capacity – not as a compliance officer, salesman, or even a certified investment solicitor. This lack of accreditation casts a long shadow over the legitimacy of their operations.

Attempts to reach the companies for comment proved largely unsuccessful. Recson Land did not respond to inquiries sent via email and Facebook, while Dual Fuel ignored messages on their Facebook page, and contact information for Legends Petroleum remains unavailable.
