DRUG CARTEL SMASHED: 3 Kingpins Exposed!

DRUG CARTEL SMASHED: 3 Kingpins Exposed!

A clandestine operation, dubbed Project B3, unfolded across the Greater Toronto Area, culminating in the arrests of three men allegedly involved in a widespread drug trafficking network. The investigation, launched in September, targeted individuals suspected of distributing illicit substances throughout Toronto and Durham Region.

Monday saw a coordinated series of raids, with the Toronto Police drug squad, bolstered by the Emergency Task Force and K9 unit, executing four search warrants in Toronto and one in Durham Region. Simultaneously, three vehicles were seized and subjected to meticulous forensic examination.

The searches yielded a disturbing cache of narcotics: approximately 1.3 kilograms of cocaine, nearly 1 kilogram of the deadly opioid fentanyl, 85 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and 30 grams of hydromorphone in pill form. Crack cocaine and a significant sum of cash – $10,000 – were also recovered, alongside a crucial cellphone.

Drugs and other evidence seized by Toronto Police across the GTA on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, as part of Project B3.

Syed Hassaan Alam, 24, of Toronto, already facing conditions from a previous release order, now confronts charges including failure to comply with that order and multiple counts related to drug trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking. The alleged offenses involve substantial quantities of illicit substances.

Hamzah Master, 23, also of Toronto, is accused of possessing proceeds of crime and engaging in trafficking and possession of scheduled substances. His charges reflect a significant role in the alleged operation.

Alaa Nabil Deen Faraj, 29, from Ajax, faces the most extensive list of charges, including multiple counts of possessing proceeds of crime and trafficking and possession of scheduled substances for the purpose of trafficking. The breadth of these accusations suggests a central position within the network.

Authorities are urging anyone with information related to this case to come forward, emphasizing that tips can be provided anonymously. The investigation remains active as police continue to unravel the full extent of the alleged drug trafficking operation.
