TRUMP DECLARES WAR ON GLOBAL MIGRATION: Borders to be LOCKED DOWN!

A wave of stark pronouncements erupted from former President Trump on Thanksgiving Day, signaling a dramatic escalation in his stance on immigration. The statements, delivered through his social media platform, outlined a plan to “permanently pause migration” from nations he characterized as less affluent.

The initial volley of posts followed news of a shooting in Washington, D.C., where two West Virginia National Guard members were injured while patrolling. The suspect, identified as Rahmanullah Lakanwal, a 29-year-old originally from Afghanistan, allegedly opened fire, leaving one guard critically wounded and another, Sarah Beckstrom, succumbing to her injuries.

Expressing condolences to the service members, Trump framed the incident as justification for sweeping changes to immigration policy. He vowed to halt all migration from what he termed “Third World Countries,” effectively suspending the entry of individuals from a broad, undefined range of nations.

U.S. President Donald Trump speaks to reporters after speaking to troops via video from his Mar-a-Lago estate on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, in Palm Beach, Fla.

The former president’s vision extended beyond simply pausing entry. He called for the reversal of immigration policies enacted during the current administration, the removal of individuals deemed a “net detriment” to the United States, and the denial of federal benefits to non-citizens. His rhetoric painted a picture of a nation under siege, demanding stringent measures to protect its interests.

Trump’s posts included a call to denaturalize migrants and deport any foreign-born person considered a “security risk” or incompatible with “Western Civilization.” He asserted that only a “reverse migration” could rectify the situation, a phrase suggesting a large-scale expulsion of foreign-born residents.

The statements were not limited to policy proposals; they included scathing accusations against the immigrant population. Trump alleged widespread reliance on welfare, connections to criminal activity, and a drain on national resources, claiming refugees were a primary driver of “social dysfunction.”

He specifically targeted Somali immigrants, falsely claiming they were “completely taking over” the state of Minnesota and perpetuating harmful stereotypes about gang violence and public safety. A derogatory slur was also directed at the state’s governor, adding a layer of personal attack to the broader condemnation.

A rapid response account associated with the former president amplified the message, labeling it “one of the most important messages ever released.” The posts ignited immediate controversy, raising concerns about the divisive nature of the rhetoric and the potential for further polarization.

The pronouncements arrived amidst a period of heightened scrutiny of immigration policies and a renewed focus on border security. During his previous term, Trump’s administration pursued aggressive deportation measures and implemented policies designed to restrict access to the United States.

Following the shooting, Trump also demanded a reinvestigation of all Afghan refugees admitted to the country during the current administration, signaling a desire to revisit past immigration decisions and potentially initiate further removals.
