THEY'RE CUTTING YOU OFF: Illegal Alien Funds Targeted in Shocking Crackdown!

A sweeping change in federal policy was announced Friday, aiming to restrict access to key tax benefits for individuals residing in the country without legal authorization. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, acting on direct instruction from the President, detailed a plan to safeguard these resources for American citizens.

The crackdown will specifically target the Earned Income Tax Credit, the Additional Child Tax Credit, the American Opportunity Tax Credit, and the Saver’s Match Credit – preventing refunded portions of these benefits from reaching those not legally qualified. This move represents a significant shift in enforcement of existing laws.

Beyond tax credits, the Treasury is also taking aim at the flow of money. A new alert issued by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network mandates heightened scrutiny of financial transactions involving individuals without legal status. Money services businesses are now required to report any suspicious activity exceeding $2,000.

This heightened vigilance isn’t simply about dollars and cents. Officials point to concerns about illicit funds being transferred to home countries, and even potentially supporting dangerous organizations. Recent cases have raised alarms about the possibility of funds reaching groups like al-Shabab.

The actions follow a recent tragedy – the death of National Guard Specialist Sarah Beckstrom – and a forceful response from the President. The administration framed these policy changes as a necessary step to protect national interests and prioritize the well-being of its citizens.

These new regulations, supported by a recent legal opinion, are slated to take effect with the 2026 tax year. They build upon an earlier executive order designed to bar those without legal authorization from receiving taxpayer-funded benefits, finally enforcing a 1996 law that had long gone unaddressed.

The intent, according to officials, is clear: to eliminate fraud, redirect resources, and ensure that benefits are reserved for those who have earned them through legal residency and contribution to the nation.
