A disturbing incident has prompted a police investigation in Toronto’s west end, leaving authorities seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect.
The alleged assault occurred last Thursday around 9:25 p.m. near the intersection of Bloor Street West and Brock Avenue, a typically bustling area just west of Dufferin Street.
According to police reports, a man approached the victim from behind and committed a sexual assault before quickly fleeing the scene, heading south towards Dufferin Mall.
Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any reported physical injuries, but the emotional impact of such an event is undoubtedly profound.
Investigators describe the suspect as a Black male in his 20s, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and white running shoes.
