Bannon directly questioned why no action had been taken regarding the situation, referencing Representative Ilhan Omar and a perceived long-standing problem. He characterized Minneapolis with a stark comparison, stating it had become akin to Mogadishu.
White attributed the political landscape in Minnesota to a powerful blend of agricultural and corporate interests, attracting a wave of liberal professionals. He argued this influx consistently reinforces progressive policies and maintains a specific political dynamic.
According to White, Minnesota is effectively controlled by socialist ideologies, supported by elements within both major parties. He described a deeply entrenched system that has persisted for a considerable period.
Bannon pressed for concrete solutions, questioning whether mass deportations were being considered as a way to address the perceived issues and “unmake” the city’s current state. He also noted former President Trump’s comments about pausing immigration from the developing world.
White unequivocally voiced his support for mass deportations of Somalis within Minnesota, stating his agreement was “one thousand percent with no equivocations.” He believes this action is necessary to alter the state’s political trajectory.
White asserted that Minnesota is often a closely contested state, but that a significant voting bloc – approximately 200,000 Somali residents – is systematically mobilized by political organizations to favor Democratic candidates. This, he claims, is enough to swing elections.
He warned of a network of organized groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR, influencing the state’s political processes. White further alleged this influence extends to the distribution of grants through the Department of Agriculture.
