CASINO HEIST: International Couple Snatches $1 MILLION – Caught!

CASINO HEIST: International Couple Snatches $1 MILLION – Caught!

A brazen scheme unfolded within the glittering walls of Crown Sydney, culminating in the arrest of a couple accused of swindling over a million Australian dollars. The pair, originating from Kazakhstan, allegedly exploited a sophisticated setup to manipulate their winnings, drawing the attention of New South Wales Police.

Detectives from the Organised Crime Squad moved swiftly after observing suspicious activity during the couple’s gameplay. Surveillance revealed the use of a concealed camera device, sparking a detailed investigation into their methods and potential network.

Dilnoza Israilova and Alisherykhoja Israilov were identified as the individuals at the center of the alleged fraud. Authorities acted on evidence gathered, taking them into custody as part of a meticulously planned operation.

A search following their arrest uncovered a disturbing array of tools designed for deception. Investigators found small, magnetised probes, batteries, and a mobile phone ingeniously modified with an attachment to discreetly record images.

The couple’s toolkit extended beyond simple recording devices. A custom-made mirror attachment for the same phone further suggested a calculated effort to gain an unfair advantage at the gaming tables.

Police launched ‘Strike Force Antree’ to unravel the full extent of the operation, quickly discovering the couple’s activities weren’t limited to a single casino. They had arrived from Kazakhstan in October 2025 and systematically targeted multiple entertainment venues across Australia.

Over two months, from October to November 2025, the couple amassed an astonishing $1,179,412.50. Investigators believe they were guided by instructions delivered through deeply concealed earpieces, dictating their wagers with precision.

A subsequent search of their apartment revealed a glimpse into their newfound wealth. Police seized gambling paraphernalia, a collection of high-end jewellery, and a substantial $2000 in cash.

The case highlights the close collaboration between law enforcement and casino security. Authorities emphasize the importance of this partnership in safeguarding the integrity of gaming operations and swiftly addressing fraudulent activity.

Israilova and Israilov were denied bail and are scheduled to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on December 11 and February 11, 2026, to face the serious fraud and gambling charges levied against them.
