The ambitious expansion follows a significant victory: the securing of three crucial wind energy service contracts from the Department of Energy. A 600-megawatt wind farm will rise in Pangasinan, alongside a similarly sized facility in Samar, and a 500-megawatt installation in Nueva Ecija. The Pangasinan project will sprawl across 13,770 hectares, channeling its energy into the national grid through the Labrador Substation. The Samar wind farm, even more expansive at 16,929 hectares, will connect via the Victoria Substation. Nueva Ecija’s 9,234-hectare site will utilize the Sampaloc Substation for transmission.
