PREDATOR STRIKES AGAIN: Escaped Justice Now Accused of HORROR!

PREDATOR STRIKES AGAIN: Escaped Justice Now Accused of HORROR!

A woman’s life took a terrifying turn in September when, after connecting with a man on Snapchat, she was abducted and held captive for days. Abdimahat Bille Mohamed, 28, allegedly lured the victim from her home in Mankato, promising a simple ride, but instead delivered a chilling declaration: “You’re not going home.”

The ordeal unfolded after Mohamed drove the woman to a Bloomington hotel, immediately seizing her phone and extinguishing any hope of immediate escape. For nearly a week, she endured repeated sexual assaults, trapped and isolated by her captor’s calculated control.

Her desperate bid for freedom came on September 21st, when she seized a fleeting opportunity and jumped from Mohamed’s moving vehicle on Aldrich Avenue South. A concerned resident, witnessing her visibly distressed state, immediately contacted the police, initiating a chain of events that would expose a disturbing pattern.

This horrifying incident wasn’t an isolated event. Less than four months prior, Mohamed had been sentenced in two separate sexual assault cases, including one involving a vulnerable 15-year-old girl. The details emerging from these cases paint a picture of predatory behavior and a disturbing disregard for the law.

Prosecutors allege that in May 2024, Mohamed again used Snapchat to target a woman, luring her to his Minneapolis apartment before brutally assaulting her. He reportedly threatened her with a firearm, escalating the violence and silencing her pleas for help.

A witness intervened during that May assault, hearing a struggle and finding Mohamed attacking the victim. Mohamed then allegedly extended his threats, vowing to kill anyone who dared to interfere.

The pattern of abuse stretches back further, to October 2023, when similar charges were filed against Mohamed. In December 2017, he allegedly connected with a 15-year-old girl on Snapchat, picking her up in St. Paul and driving her to Minneapolis.

Once in Minneapolis, the situation escalated into a nightmare scenario. Two men entered the vehicle, brandishing firearms and forcing the girl into a horrific act. Mohamed then allegedly joined in the assault, further violating the young victim.

Despite receiving sentences in both the 2017 and 2024 cases, Mohamed remarkably avoided significant jail time. Plea agreements resulted in suspended prison sentences and credit for time already served, allowing him to remain on probation – and ultimately, allegedly re-offend.

He received a three-year sentence for the 2017 assault, but it was stayed for five years. A 14-month sentence in the 2024 case was also suspended. These lenient outcomes have sparked outrage and raised serious questions about the justice system’s ability to protect potential victims.

Currently, Mohamed is facing charges of felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, and criminal sexual conduct. He is being held at the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility on a $300,000 bond, awaiting further legal proceedings.

The case has prompted a wave of concern and demands for accountability, as the community grapples with the realization that a repeat offender was allowed to remain free, allegedly continuing a pattern of horrific violence.
