TRUMP DECLARES WAR ON SOMALIANS: IMMIGRATION RAID IMMINENT!

Former President Trump unleashed a scathing verbal attack on Somali migrants in Minnesota, labeling them “garbage” and accusing them of overreliance on U.S. welfare programs. The remarks came during a Cabinet meeting, where he specifically targeted Minneapolis-St. Paul, claiming the community had been negatively impacted by their presence.

Trump’s criticism extended to Representative Ilhan Omar, characterizing her as a leader within the Somali community. He leveled harsh accusations, dismissing both her and her associates with derogatory language, and questioning their contributions to the nation.

The timing of these statements coincides with reports of a potential surge in immigration enforcement operations by ICE in the Twin Cities. A New York Times report suggested the operation would specifically target the Somali population, raising concerns about potential discrimination.

However, a senior Department of Homeland Security official refuted claims of racially motivated targeting. The official emphasized that ICE enforcement actions are based solely on immigration status, not ethnicity or origin.

Trump also directed his ire towards Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, criticizing his handling of alleged fraud schemes within the Somali community. Reports indicate that individuals may have exploited state programs, fraudulently billing for millions of dollars in payments.

Governor Walz defended the programs, explaining they were designed to provide assistance to those in need. He acknowledged that criminals sometimes exploit loopholes, but maintained the programs’ core purpose was to improve lives.

Trump painted a bleak picture of Somalia, describing it as a country plagued by violence and instability. He reiterated his stance that individuals who “come from hell” and express dissatisfaction should return to their countries of origin to address the problems there.

He also revisited long-standing allegations concerning Representative Omar’s personal life, specifically claims about her marital history and potential immigration violations. These accusations, previously circulated by conservative outlets, have been consistently denied by Omar.

In response to the reported ICE operation, Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin clarified that enforcement actions are driven by legal status, not race or ethnicity. She declined to comment on specific, future operations, citing security protocols.

Representative Omar responded to Trump’s attacks with a pointed statement, describing his obsession with her as “creepy.” She expressed hope that he would seek the help he needs, signaling her disapproval of his rhetoric and personal attacks.
