Environment Canada has issued a complex network of warnings, painting a picture of varying intensity. Yellow snowfall warnings predict 20 to 30 centimeters of accumulation by Wednesday afternoon, while more severe orange warnings – focused on northern Cape Breton and central Newfoundland – anticipate a staggering 30 to 50 centimeters by evening.
