This program, known as retail aggregation, enables multiple end-users to combine their energy demands, effectively qualifying them as a single, larger customer. This increased bargaining power unlocks access to the competitive retail electricity market, fostering a more dynamic and potentially cost-effective energy supply.
The partnership builds on a foundation established a year ago, when the developer initially ventured into the competitive retail electricity market. This market allows businesses consuming substantial amounts of power – a minimum of 500 kilowatts – the freedom to select their preferred energy provider.
The developer’s President and CEO expressed strong confidence in the continued collaboration, highlighting a long-standing relationship built on trust and mutual growth. He emphasized the value of having a reliable energy partner throughout all stages, from initial planning to ongoing operations.
