MAINE DRIVER'S LICENSE SCANDAL: Murderers Are LEGALLY Driving Among Us! [AUDIO]

MAINE DRIVER'S LICENSE SCANDAL: Murderers Are LEGALLY Driving Among Us! [AUDIO]

A chilling revelation has surfaced from within the Maine Department of the Secretary of State, exposing a startling vulnerability in the state’s driver’s license policy. An undercover investigation revealed a pathway for individuals with questionable backgrounds and limited documentation to obtain a Maine driver’s license with alarming ease.

The investigation centered around a simulated inquiry regarding “Mohammad Mohammad,” a foreign national from Somalia who doesn’t speak English and has a documented history of a fatal traffic accident in his home country. The intent was to understand the safeguards, or lack thereof, in place to prevent potentially dangerous individuals from gaining driving privileges.

The response from a Maine DMV staffer was deeply unsettling. Obtaining a license, according to the call, requires only a birth certificate or foreign document – even a translated one – a second document bearing a signature, and a passing score of 25 out of 30 on a written exam, followed by a road test.

Crucially, no verification of immigration status is performed. There is no attempt to access criminal records from other countries, leaving a gaping hole in public safety. A history of reckless or deadly driving abroad appears to hold no weight in the application process.

When specifically asked about Mohammad’s past – the tragic death of a jogger struck by his vehicle in Somalia – the staffer’s response was stark. The state simply lacks the ability to access or verify such records from foreign nations, effectively granting a clean slate to individuals with potentially dangerous histories.

The ease with which someone could potentially forge documents and exploit this system is deeply concerning. The investigation highlighted that even language barriers are readily accommodated, with written exams available in Somali and the option for oral testing.

The implications extend beyond road safety. The investigation also pointed out that a state ID is all that’s required to register to vote in Maine, raising serious questions about the potential for voter fraud and the integrity of the electoral process.

The ease of obtaining a new license, even after committing a crime or losing driving privileges, further exacerbates the problem. With forged documents readily available and verification systems absent, the cycle of risk continues unchecked.

This investigation was prompted by recent tragedies within the state, including a pedestrian fatality in Portland and an incident in Lewiston involving a driver with limited English proficiency. The findings underscore a critical need for immediate policy review and robust safeguards to protect Maine citizens.
