CEB'S MEGA-EXPANSION: Riyadh UNLOCKED & 7 New Planes Incoming!

A significant expansion is on the horizon for the airline, with plans to welcome seven new aircraft into its fleet next year. This ambitious growth strategy aims to solidify its regional presence and enhance service to a wider range of destinations, promising both efficiency and comfort for travelers.

By the close of 2025, the airline anticipates operating a fleet of 100 aircraft, building upon the seven deliveries received this year. The 2026 projections include five narrow-body and two wide-body planes, signaling a commitment to diverse route capabilities.

A new direct route between Manila and Riyadh is slated to launch on March 1, 2026, offering a vital connection for Filipinos. The service will operate four times weekly, with carefully scheduled departures and returns designed for optimal convenience.

Riyadh will represent the airline’s primary long-haul destination in the coming year, though exploration of further opportunities remains ongoing. The focus, however, will be on reinforcing existing strengths and optimizing current routes.

Strengthening the existing network is paramount, allowing the airline to achieve greater economies of scale and ultimately lower fares for passengers. This strategic approach prioritizes accessibility and affordability without compromising service quality.

Currently, the airline connects travelers to 37 domestic and 27 international destinations spanning Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. This extensive network reflects a dedication to serving a broad spectrum of travel needs.

Passenger numbers have surged, with a 13.9% increase in the third quarter, reaching nearly 20 million travelers. Domestic travel saw a 12.7% rise, while international passenger volume climbed by an impressive 17.7%.

The airline’s operating unit reported a substantial increase in net income for the first half of the year, more than doubling profits compared to the previous year. This financial success is fueled by robust growth in passenger, cargo, and ancillary revenues.

Looking ahead, the airline anticipates continued strong demand, particularly during the fourth quarter, driven by holiday travel and a positive economic outlook in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. This optimistic forecast underscores a period of sustained growth and opportunity.
