TREASONOUS 13: GOP BETRAYS TRUMP in SHOCKING Vote!

A seismic shift occurred in the House of Representatives Wednesday as lawmakers moved to dismantle a key policy enacted during the previous administration. The focus: restoring collective bargaining rights for hundreds of thousands of federal employees.

Just months ago, an executive order dramatically altered the landscape for federal unions, stripping workers of protections they had long held. The move immediately sparked outrage and a swift legal challenge from unions and advocacy groups who argued it undermined fundamental worker rights.

That initial executive order faced an immediate roadblock – a federal judge temporarily halted its implementation. However, the fight was far from over, as the previous administration aggressively appealed the decision, keeping the legal battle alive.

Now, Representative Jared Golden spearheaded a determined effort to bypass typical legislative hurdles. Utilizing a rarely invoked procedure known as a discharge petition, he forced a vote on a bill designed to fully repeal the controversial order.

The vote wasn’t a partisan landslide. While Democrats overwhelmingly supported the measure, a surprising number of Republicans broke ranks, signaling a deep division within the party. Thirteen GOP lawmakers ultimately sided with their Democratic colleagues.

Those Republicans – Jeff Van Drew, Nicole Malliotakis, Nick LaLota, Brian Fitzpatrick, Rob Bresnahan, Don Bacon, Mike Lawler, Tom Kean, Ryan Mackenzie, Zach Nunn, Chris Smith, Pete Stauber, and Mike Turner – cast votes that defied party leadership and potentially reshaped the debate.

The motion to proceed passed by a narrow margin, 222 to 200, sending a clear message about the growing momentum behind the repeal effort. Every Democrat present voted in favor, bolstered by the crucial support from across the aisle.

The bill now faces one final procedural test – a “rule vote” – before a final vote on its passage. If it clears that hurdle, the repeal of the executive order will be brought to a decisive conclusion, potentially restoring collective bargaining rights to federal workers nationwide.
