A six-year-old girl’s hospital visit triggered a harrowing investigation in New Hampshire, revealing a disturbing sequence of events and leading to charges against her mother. The case began when the Division for Children, Youth, and Families alerted Nashua Police to the child’s condition on November 3rd, setting in motion a probe that would uncover a web of alleged neglect and obstruction.
The young girl had been hospitalized after consuming a THC gummy, a seemingly innocuous treat with potentially dangerous consequences. Subsequent testing revealed a far more alarming reality: the child’s system also contained traces of cocaine, raising immediate concerns about her well-being and the circumstances surrounding her exposure.
Investigators quickly focused on the mother, Paige Goulet, 30, as the investigation deepened. Evidence suggested a deliberate attempt to hinder the police inquiry, with allegations that Goulet actively pressured a witness to remain silent, attempting to shield herself from scrutiny.
