Serafin “Danny” Lorenzo Jr. and Deana Lorenzo, traveling from Brooksville to Estero, believed they were responding to an online advertisement for firearms. They arrived with $3,000, expecting a legitimate transaction, but instead walked into a carefully orchestrated ambush.
In April 2018, the couple was shot multiple times in a parking lot, their hopes of a simple purchase shattered by a ruthless attack. Federal prosecutors detailed how Lang and his co-conspirator, Alex Jared Zwiefelhofer, lay in wait, transforming a potential sale into a deadly confrontation.
